About

Christina Rose

Hi, I'm Christina

Welcome! This space bridges the evolution of my professional journey—from an analytical background in Finance to a creative future in Design.

In 2022, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Washington Foster School of Business, with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship. I spent the next three years at Microsoft modeling global financial projections for multiple teams.

Microsoft nurtured essential skills of process, precision, and communication, but success in Finance is measured by benchmarking reality against targets. Instead of aiming for future attainment, I sought present interaction with clients and an ability to make tangible, joyful impact. My interest on campus lay in relationship-building and experiencing the effect of design on employee satisfaction and production.

In Fall 2025, I wrapped up my journey at Microsoft, which carried me from the Pacific Northwest to the vibrant streets of Tokyo and historic architecture of Boston. I am now a full-time student in UCLA's Architecture and Interior Design program: an intersection of analytical rigor and intentional beauty.

Follow along as I build my portfolio, master technical tools, and explore the enriching field of design.

Coastal Cottage

Concept Board

Concept Board

Composed of limestone, natural wood, shell and coral accents, this mood board creates an airy, light atmosphere. Shades of blue and organic texture contribute to the cozy essence of a cottage, while pops of tropical yellow-orange energize the tranquil concept.

Rendered Floor Plan

Inspired by the Concept Board, this coastal cottage features key elements of nature, simplicity, and comfort. The 2 bedroom/2 bath single-story house includes an office, laundry room, open concept shared space, and stunning ocean view.

Interior Perspective

Rendered Interior Perspective

This blend of beachy pattern, textured fabric, wood, and variations of aqua ensues nautical bliss. Hemp rope lighting shades introduce a laid back mood, while unconventional drapes and an antiquated upholstered armchair carry the traditional charm of a cottage.
